Judith Weaver is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia since 1990, with work experience in both community agency and private practice counseling settings. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) and an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Counseling Psychology. In addition to 18 years of private practice counseling, she has extensive training and experience in crisis work, brief therapy, EAP counseling, and domestic violence / batterer intervention. Other special interest areas include relationship and gender issues, changing codependent behaviors, and working with survivors of abuse. Judith is Board-certified as a National Certified Counselor, a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and as a Master Addictions Counselor. She is certified by NAADAC as a Substance Abuse Professional. She is an approved Community-Based Transitional Services Vendor by the Department of Juvenile Justice. She is certified as a Small, Woman-owned business (SWAM) by the DMBE.
